The APMO is an annual regional mathematics competition for high school students. Contestants have to hurdle a four-hour paper consisting of five original problems. Unlike the International Mathematical Olympiad, this competition is administered locally by organizers from participating countries from the Asian Pacific Region. While there is no limit on the number of local participants who can take the exam, only the top 10 students from each country are considered for the official scores. Even though some of our top 10 students had scores above the award cutoffs, there is a cap on the number of awards per country. The overall results are posted in http://www.apmo-official.org/year_report/2019. Problems and solutions are also available in the APMO webpage.
